What does the survey cover?

Every HR professional needs to know what other organizations are doing with regard to salary range and base salary increases, along with how those increases vary by industry, geographic area and position level.

As part of our annual data collection, WCBC surveys Canadian employers on their actual and planned salary increases and compensation policies. Results are free to those who participate.

What types of organizations are included in this survey?

Participation in our annual surveys is open to organizations with employees in Canada. No organization is too small or too large. While data collection in underway the mix of organizations is constantly in flux, however, the typical mix is:

Private Sector 70% to 75%
Public Sector 10% to 15%
Not-For-Profit 20% to 25%

Survey results are broken out by economic sector to enable you to target salary movement, as appropriate.
