Board of Directors Compensation Report

In Executive & Board Compensation, General News

WCBC has just released its Board of Directors Compensation Report.

Over the past year director compensation has increased by approximately 7%. In addition, WCBC’s research shows that the mix of compensation has been shifting. For the past 5 years the typical director received a mix of cash-based annual retainers, meeting fees & equity-based compensation. However, over the same time period there has been a gradual trend of eliminating meeting fees resulting in the majority of directors now receiving retainers & equity-based compensation.
